Lessons start at or near the RSA driving test centre on Pottery Road, so from the first lesson you are learning on the Deansgrange, Monkstown, Blackrock and Dún Laoghaire roads the test itself uses — not somewhere quieter that you will never be examined on.

Every lesson is with the same ADI-approved instructor in a dual-control car, covering EDT, reduced EDT, pretest, automatic and manual. Evenings and weekends are available. Ailbhe teaches across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and Wicklow; if you are unsure whether your area is covered, ask — the answer is quick.

I'm Ailbhe, an ADI approved driving instructor with many years of experience helping learners across Dún Laoghaire and Wicklow become confident, safe drivers.

My approach is simple: patience, clear communication, and building your confidence at your own pace. I understand that learning to drive can be stressful - whether you're a complete beginner, someone who's struggled with previous instructors, or a nervous driver who needs extra support. I've helped countless students overcome their anxiety and pass their test first time.

What sets my lessons apart is the attention to detail. After each lesson, I send you notes and tips so you can reinforce what you've learned. I explain not just what to do, but why - so driving becomes second nature rather than a list of rules to memorise.
